Protip: You can seal up the flaking clear coat over the carbon with clear nail polish to keep it from flaking further with use.
Helps with the gritty feeling of the road rashed raw carbon too.

It's only around 5% in the picture, but it got up to around 17% at the steepest today I think.

Yeah I had already sanded it down a bit to get rid of the rough spots and stray fibers and put a little bit of clear nail Polish on by the time i took the pic.
