Might be higher than folks wish to pay but not bad shape for someone who wants one. Of course the rusty chain suggests that maybe not ready to ride and perhaps the buyer might point that issue out?

Posted because cool looking bike (Not sure about 1966? Maybe 1976?)

Ad says:

1966 Styer Clubman classic lugged steel road bike w Brooks B17 - $194 (OVERLAND PARK)

Now here's an unrestored original bike from Austria you won't see too often!

*Missing: Right shift lever, stem bolt, front derailleur (Huret brand is correct for the bike)
*Weinmann type 730 long-reach sidepull brakes
*Original Brooks B17 leather saddle, has some scuffs but is really pretty good condition!
*Oil port for the bottom bracket
*New Specialized tires!
*51.5cmx56cm frameset
*31" stand-over height

OPTIONS:
*Reduce price by $60 for no saddle, reduce by another $30 for no tires/tubes.
*For an extra $70, I will true the wheels, grease the hubs, wrap with new bar tape, and replace the cables.
*I may be able to supply the missing parts for extra cost, I'd have to dig through my parts bins.

Thanks,
Mark

This is a very nice $300 bike.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bi...277759011.html

Cannondale Shimano 600sis - $600 (Boston)

A tasteful vintage, yet powerful bike. The bike had quite a peculiar history, where it was donated to a local charity in the central midwest, and then stood on the shelf unused up until 2016. I got it in 2016 and put about a 1000 miles on it. with very occasional riding.

The bike has some cosmetic defects as you can see in pictures, mostly due to paint aging and chipping away. But mechanically it is in a perfect condition - bearings were serviced recently, minimal signs of wear on cogs, no issues with the freewheel, perfect brakes with plenty of pad material left. 52/34 crankset and 6 speed rear freewheel.

It comes with magnesium wheels and S-Works Turbo tires, Specialized saddle, Zipp seatpost and nylon pedals.

Frame size is unknown. I'm 6.0/ 32 inseam, and this bikes fits very well. Should fit you well if you're between 5.11 and 6.2. Some geo numbers.

Stack - 564
Reach - 413
Top tube - 570
Seat tube - 585
Standover - 825
Chainstay - 400
Stem - 100
Cranks - 175

Perfect city commuter or entry level endurance bike. More pictures soon, or reach out for details.

Circa 1986 60cm. Woodrup Road Racing Frameset - $425 (Waltham)

I have for sale a 60cm Woodrup road racing bicycle frame/fork. The frame measures 60cm c-c at the seat tube (61cm c-t) and a top tube of 57.5cm c-c (measurements are made from the intersections of the centerlines of the tubes).
Woodrup has been producing high-end bicycle frames since 1949 tailoring each frame to the individual person and use of the frame. Woodrup built his frames using high-end steel alloy tubing (primarily Reynolds 531). This frame was built in the mid-1980s when an all round road racing geometry was popular and, due to it's size, likely uses non-standard wall thicknesses or perhaps even used some Columbus SL/SP steel alloy tubing. The Frameset is finished in a beautiful medium-toned blue paint that is in very good condition in the commonly visible areas and the decals. While there is little chipping in the paint or decals, there is some chipping/paint loss on the drive-side chainstays resulting from chainring/chain rub and an area that was maybe from a toestrap or shoe buckle. There are a couple of spots of rust under the paint on the toptube around the cable guides, and a spot on the downtube near the bottom bracket. There are also a couple of bubbles on the bottom of the right chainstay. The elegant lugs, clean cinelli bottom bracket, custom seatstay caps and fork crown, make for an attractive frameset.
All in all I consider this to be great to ride or race it as-is, provided measures are taken to address the under paint rust and exposed metal and primer. It is also an excellent candidate for a full restoration to concours, an additional plus is that Woodrup is an excellent resource for the restoration.
Expect the handling of this frame to be comfortable, solid but responsive, climbing well. Overall, a great example of the ride a steel frame gives.
STEEL IS REAL

The price is $425.00

They could use a copy editor. Contradictory information, and outright fabrications. I'd notice if this had a mag wheelset. I think we all would.

Either wheels that cost more than all the bikes I own.

Or a wheel that will turn you off of cycling altogether.

This (link) popped up a few days ago on the local CL and I communicated with the seller, since the ad copy and photos are lacking.

Jeffrey richman road bike frameset - $1 (Denver)

Jeffrey richman 62cm frameset. Cool frame
.
From seller's email, the frameset is from Bike Recyclery (original ad) and is as shown there. He's asking $525 now.

Better pic from the old ad:

My size, although the head tube is a bit long.

I'm only posting it here because I really want to buy it but absolutely don't need another frameset. Surprised that Brewsmith hasn't already snagged this, since it's in his neighborhood.
