Please, you are my guests to serve you with this bike!

I also need a little help. I searched for a few days to identify this frame and I can't find any information. The other day I bought this bike. I bought it more for the wheels. I wanted to throw frame. But now I would like some information about this framework. Does anyone have any idea what model, year, brand this frame is? I offer a beer!

the only information I have is this compared picture

Thanks,
francophile

Luigi

From what I understand Luigi Montagner hand built all those frames in a very small shop......used Columbus tubing.......he built world class racing bikes in the 1980s......I suspect you were joking about pitching that frame and the beer........beautiful bike

I had one for a while, was a very nice bike but not my size so had to move it along. IIRC there's a catalog scan of Montagner in Mark Bulgier's huge collection of catalog scans, but I have not been able to access the site for a year or 2. If you can get there then read and view, maybe you'll find a match (not sure what the GPM dropouts, no chrome and over BB cable routing will add up to, but those are clues). LM was also one builder who used Oria tubing for his frames during a period

Thanks Kurt! That's the pic I remember: more chrome, "fancy" ribbed Oria tubing, more braze-ons than the OP's frame (which may be a more "budget" model)
