Sounds like big liver laceration. Seems the doctors were saying it was just bad luck, he crashed in an awkward way and got unlucky with his injuries. Ran into a concrete bridge over a ditch? I'm not sure what they mean by bridge. Just a little tiny bridge for a driveway over a roadside ditch?
