No high def pics here sorry, all grabbed from a video, flying (paraglider) around some bays in NZ. From memory we started at 1200ft, no thermals or ridge lift so we were down in about 10 min. Video here too.

I love taking pics of cars and mechanical objects with some shine. I have gone to about 3 car shows and though I love the subjects and their glow, usually the cars are crammed into a tight space so it's hard to get shots of single cars. Luckily this one was on the end so I got a solo shot. I really liked the color of this car but too bad it was a gloomy day and the sky was dull. Would have been nicer with some blue skies and clouds. I can change it but too much detail in the trees and gates so meh, stays like it is.

Myself and a friend used to put on car shows in Vegas at a place called The Sunshine Cafe.

There were a few favorites there.

Some of the stuff I took at a car show. I like the jewel look of mechanical things. Sadly again, most cars are bunched up so hard to appreciate a car on it's own. So I do take some parts shots.

Not the best shot of it, but I really liked this 65 GTO. Note the license plate.

And a better shot of the underside of the hood.

This car was special to me because it reminded me of a joint venture in a 64 GTO. Ours had the same tri-powered 389 and four speed.

Work pics, good idea.

I took this literally the minute they rolled this beauty out of the hangar and got it in the sun for the first time:

That's the one, woolen yarn spinning, for carpet. The old machine gears make great tables!

That camera and lens are legendary. I'm sure you both cherish and enjoy that set.
Some years ago, I got into adapting lenses to EOS via M42 (known as Pentax screw mount to some)
Here is a photo taken with a Zeiss Flektogon adapted to a Canon 5D.

This was Joe at work in the family store. Joe passed on a few years later, so I printed these for his sister and family.
Their family store is named Hahn's Surplus, and was quite popular, and had the occasional news team do stories on them.
Using the Flektogon again, here's a behind the scene shot of Geraldo Ramalho from Vegas Channel 3 wearing a vest from Hahn's, and doing one of those spots.

Zeiss does some excellent adapted mount lenses today. The ZM series is a good alternative to Leica M’s especially the ZM 50 sonnar which i still occasionally use. I also used a Leitax mount adapter on a R80 summilux to use on a Nikon F3T years ago when i was doing just film.

and yeah the M9M was one of my best ever camera purchases. Wishing my uncle was around to see what Leica has done with their digital M’s. He did teach me a lot about darkroom processing though!!
