Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looks good but can you even use those brakes in that position? Something tells me that climbing in the hoods would be impossible.

Ew, fix those hoods. They looks very uncomfortable... Also, the cable housing should be underneath the bar tape.

What's with the black cylinder on your front brake, and your front skewer is in a dangerous position... not to mention on the wrong side too!

I didn't even notice the cables not being under the tape. Oopsie.

It's all a learning experience. Be sure to post some updated pictures.

My Allez. Putting Speedplay's on it as soon as they arrive. I like my Look's a lot, but I gave Speedplays a try last weekend and really enjoyed that experience and PBK had the Zeroes on sale. But, anyway! Pics! I need to take some new ones, especially with the new saddle, but I'll wait until those pedals are on there.

New pic of the R3SL, tour de france edition bike. The Bento Box is there to hold my headlight battery. Don't mock.

Can I mock your hilariously large saddlebag?

It is a cool bike though. Kind of subdued colors.

Nice Tarmac ! I almost pulled the trigger on one of those, non-DA however. Is that a new DA crank?
