What Bianchi is this?

Yesterday I went to look at the following bike and walked away from it as it was in relatively rough shape.. It has been on my mind though and I'd be very intrested in finding out what it is. Here is the posting:

https://boston.craigslist.org/nos/bik/1931847469.html

It was equipped with a mixture of DuraAce and 80's ish Record. Clearly a fine bike - built in the Reparto Corse and aparently full SLX. I've never seen a celeste Bianchi with black head tube, fork and rear stays, nor one with a pantographed headbadge. Very interesting.

At least the Sannini he had with it was in nice shape, so I did walk away with that Subject for another thread though.

Hello how a bad a shapoe was it? how were the wheels? was there lots of rust? is it worth having packed and shipped to me? I can see the SLX and part of the ST decal are ruined by the stand clamp

to the best of my knowledge only two bikes were ever built (from the factory for the US market) with this paint scheme, and only one had the rolled headbadge. that bike/frame would be the much talked about but seldom seen elusive Bianchi X-4. I do believe this bike may be one of those.

it is clearly too small for me but I had thought for that price it would be worth having it shipped to me then I could clean, inspect, photograph, repair and then pass it along to one of two friends looking for a bike.

OH BTW the other bike in this paint scheme refered to by Bianchi as "Argentin Celeste" was the '88 Trofeo. a very capable but lower level sibling with a Formula 2 frame and Suntour/Ofmega/Modolo mix
