Anyone who's wasted enough time to have 20k posts really should evaluate their priorities.

I find 5,000 is a saturation point for me for message boards. Once I get near that number, interest fades. Whether that is in the activity of the board (e.g., cycling) or just the repetitive nuances of a particular board.

I can't believe I have over 10k. I've taken some pretty long breaks from here even for times. I can't imagine more than 20 of those posts were actually worth anything.

I like to think it's closer to 50, since I try to help in the Mechanics forum sometimes.

Got my Cat4 upgrade. From having my arse kicked by 5s, now I'll get to have my arse kicked by the 4s and the 30+ 1/2/3s.

Congrats! (But I'm pretty sure you are not yet eligible for M123 races)

Thanks. I'm not but the local training series has Cat4 men, Cat123 women, and 30+ Cat123 men all as eligible for the B race.

I'm just glad to be able to do the longer Cat4 road races as opposed to he 15-20 mile Cat5 ones.

Had some x-rays of my hip/pelvis done today and saw a sports med doc. No MRI needed, I have a textbook case of piriformis syndrome and PT should clear it up. Might need a 'roid shot into the muscle but holding off on that for now until I give the PT stuff a try.

In other news, x-rays are super cool. Apparently I'm going to need to go to the bathroom soon too

I prescribe to the quantity over quality posting theory. Soon I'll have a robot doing this for me, but its going to have to disable spell and grammar check.

I'm just posting now so I can see my post count. Too lazy to scroll through and look.
I think I'm a Cat 5 poster though!

Yeah, weak!
