I ran a Sachs Huret New Success rear derailleur, shifters, chain, and freewheel on a bike I raced on in the late 80s. I thought the shifting was first rate and the components very durable.

One of the first bikes I picked at GW in the late 90s was a Gitane Prologue with ARIS Rival. It had a Yellow Jersey sticker on it and Vitus 999 tubing that somehow ended up being donated in northern Indianapolis. Never seen another.

I have a set of those exact derailleurs on my PY10FC .
like the looks and they shift nicely with Simplex retrofiction levers .
Prices seem to have gone sky high since I bought my set .
