Funny enough, the inventory for the Yorktown location was spot on. I happened to be passing through and stopped in. The one size that they didn't have was L. After trying the M and XL, I found that I need an L.

My GPS, wishing to save me a block or two, had me take a little shortcut, then up on to an entrance ramp and instructed me to cut across two lanes of 45mph traffic to make an quick left hand turn. If I could have made that left, we would have made it to our destination, three blocks away, just in time. But I didn't make it. Instead, there was a ******g 5-mile long bridge in front of me and no way to turn around.
I had the kids in the car with me, and they didn't mind the 10-mile detour. I was not happy, though. The destination that we were 30 seconds away from? Yeah, Grandpa's viewing. Ugh.

I crossed that bridge today (in a car) involuntarily.

I don’t own an airplane yet, but for me to go rent one it’s about 165 dollars an hour where I’m at. For me to fly a cessna from newport news to knoxville would be about 3.5 hours depending on wind. So round trip 7 hours give or take. Fuel is typically included in the rental cost.

Mrs. LAJ has been informed to go after the person, the family, their dog, anyone even close to the driver of the car that takes me out. If people think it's sport to mess with bikes, they haven't seen a real game yet. Seriously, why people would put so many people in jeopardy, and be willing to change many lives for "the fun of it", is beyond me.

Unfortunately, going after Ms Vanderweit didn’t really work for the survivors and families of the deceased. Sad, really sad.

Colonoscopy done and dusted. I was pretty woozy getting into the car to go do it. Thankfully I had a driver. At the end, they wouldn't let out of that bed until there was someone there to retreive me. And they walked her back to the room to see if I recognized her (I thought it was to see if she recognized me). I believe that was the first time I've been anesthetized. Good stuff.

I don't know if I've ridden in January. The damn shoulder just will not heal. I'm gonna start looking at recumbents.
