It's been a while since I've participated in one of these threads, but thought it was time to rejoin the fun. Goal for March is 150 miles. So, having said that.....

March 03 = 4.40 miles
March 04 = 5.39 miles
March 05 = 6.53 miles

MTD = 16.32 of (hopefully) 150 miles.

rode 4 laps around fiesta island in San Diego, wind sucked, got boring after a few laps. They do some fast group rides here but not during the time I was there. Still a good place to suffer or recover since it's almost flat, just have to deal with the winds of the bay.

It’s been so long since I’ve ridden my bike .
I was going to ride when I got home from the range today , but the wind was too rough .
planning on riding tomorrow.

The wind was supposed to die down on my afternoon ride yesterday. It didn’t. It was not enjoyable. I hate it when that happens!

My first outside rides in 4 months and 5 days. Commuted to work, twice this week.

Tuesday:
14.3 There
14.4 Back

Friday:
21.7 There
21.7 Back

72 MTD
72 YTD (lol)

A little bit of a recovery week on the trainer, have an FTP/TTE test coming up this Monday. Then 4 more weeks of “structured” training while I fold in some commutes.

I’m up 5lbs too so even farther from my goal. Crap. We’re not adjusting to living overseas and might come home soon. So much more stress coming up, and in that in turn means weight gain in my future. I’ll try to avoid that if I can. Was really hoping for a better riding season this year.

Bummer

March Goal 100

3-01 14.6
3-07 6.2

MTD 20.8
YTD 287.3

Until today I haven’t ridden for five days .
My body could definitely tell . It was almost like starting all over again . The wind today didn’t help, but at least it was better than yesterday.
I switched out my chainring on my Specialized Roll before I rode . The original was a 42 tooth , I put on a 36 tooth . Made the Roll a better climber , especially in the low 34 tooth rear . Now I can spin up the hills and it feels like it lowered the other gears a step .
I thought I’d ordered an oval ring but I received a round one and checked my order and they were right . Sun next couple of days . I need to get back into a routine.

Light showers this morning, then it became cloudy with temps in the mid 60’s .
Decided to keep my Rockhopper.
Put the parts back on my It to make it a street cruiser and took it for a ride this afternoon.
The rain threatened a couple of times but was only a few sprinkles .
