Brake lever I.D

What make are these lever? And did they have half hoods? Thanks

It looks like one of the many variants of the MAFAC Course brake levers. On the earlier side they would have usually been specced with half hoods or no hoods. Later they generally had full hoods.

You can get reproduction half or full hoods from Rustiness.

They appear to be Universal model 306, produced by Fratelli Pietra.

No half hoods.

I agree with @juvela; it looks like a Universal lever. Reproduction hoods are available from e.g. Rustines.

prior to reassembly recommend withdrawing the pivot screw and placing a drop of loctite on its threads

these have a tendency to sometimes walk out with use

when this occurs their heads can damage costly replacement hoods

Exactly!

But I looked at the pictures and they are a Universal set. Nice BTW, I had to use a Ballila lever set for my Italvega’s Universal 61s.
