CAAD12 vs. Scattante Comp
Hey all,
I’m looking to get a first road bike and I found two used bikes I like the looks of. One is a Cannondale CAAD12 with Shimano 105 components. It comes with bottle cages and pedals and is $925. The other option is a Scattante comp with 105 shifters and Ultegra derailleurs for $900 but no pedals. Which should I go with do you guys think?
Thanks for your time

CAAD12 is the pinnicle of Aluminium road bikes. If it fits, that would be my pick.

I've never ridden either one, but I'd go with the Cannondale. The Caad 12 got all sorts of rave reviews and awards. Scattante was the house brand of a defunct retailer (Performance Bikes).
Even if all other things were equal, and I doubt they are, the Cannondale will hold its value better.

CAAD12 everyday.
Plus Scattante sounds like try hard “italian legacy” too much. And it’s a dumb name.

Scattante is Performance Bike’s house brand. As stated above, if the Cannondale fits go with that.

Scattante, just to annoy people once you told them your other choice was a Cannondale.

My CAAD 12 w/105. IMO this may be the best AL bike ever made.
