The seller doesn't know. Any insights appreciated.

If the 5-speed hub is factory fitted the bike is ~2002 or earlier. One of our Brompton fanboys posted a lengthy list of the changes since those days if you're interested.
The computer translated description says 'hub dynamo', but the bike pictured clearly is fitted with an Axa bottle dynamo. ~$1100 seems pricy.

Assuming the original hub is the 5-speed S/A, I agree, that's 2002 or before.
However, I see goodies: aftermarket brake levers, a Brooks saddle, dynamo/lights, pump, kickstand and a Brompton bag. That's a fair bit of extra kit.
$1100 doesn't seem unreasonable for the US market I'm familiar with. I have no idea if it's a good price in the Japanese market.

Got a reply from the seller. The frame number is 267886, with BS6102 below it. The serial number on a sticker is 0811102927. Does that narrow things down a bit?

According to the compilation on the German bromptonauten forum, the above frame number represents the first quarter of 2009.
