I've been using a Torentshell jacket and I'm only halfway impressed. After 3 minutes the outer later is completely soaked though the inner liner still keeps moisture away. I've often thought about applying water repellant sealant...Something that beads the water instead of soaking into the outer layer.

Well, I got a good deal on a showers pass refuge jacket for those days that overwhelm the gore C5 ShakeDry.
well made and perfect for those 5 day downpours and going out To dinner not looking like a lost Olympian.
