Hey Clydes! An decent Amazon cold weather gear?

Title says it all. I see offbrand jackets and such, I need one. But so unsure if the sizing. I'm down from 378 to 243. I need an inexpensive cycling jacket for the fall. And maybe nicer winter days. But fully expect to no longer need 2x plus sizing come spring. I have 3x Hincapie and Black Bottoms jerseys that fit nice presently, and a 2x Canari that is a bit loose. I'm 6'1" with longer arms. so good coverage is preferred...

I see cheaper stuff on Amazon, wondering if any fellow Clydes have experience with the cheaper offerings...

Cheaper offerings are always a gamble. Sometimes the fit is as advertised, and sometimes the fit is made for a teenage Japanese girl.

Aerotechdesigns.com has some inexpensive riding gear for us clydes. They seem to be American sizing and not European sizing so they run a little bigger.

I run a 2x Endrua Bib tight that has the wind panels in the front of the legs when it starts to get colder.

FWIW don't forget a helmet cover when it is cold, it makes a big difference........I still remember the ice cream headache I got last year without one at a not terribly cold 34 degrees

2x for $20 off Amazon... Zipper is on the wrong side though...

Found this Giro Stpw jacket at a local bike shop. $80. Damn it looks good on me...

Neither jacket is lined. I can add layers. As for a helmet cover, I drive with my sunroof open in the winter, I LOVE it when my head is cold!

Yes. I'm that guy that wears shorts in the snow...

for a long time I used a tip I got on this forum, a cheap motel style shower cap. I even punched a hole int he middle for my cam mount. last year I got a legit Showers Pass unit. it's pretty amazing & great for real rain cuz it has a serious brim. last year I also stuffed foam into my helmet vents!
