I'm fully aware of why driveshafts are more likely to be made from a high-strength composite than bumpers. I was not entirely sure of the point you were making with that particular sentence, so I was just covering the base by clarifying terms.

A drool worthy machine for sure! Niner lists a $4700 build with grx400 2x so I think that's very competitive for what this is. I will be anxious to see if/when someone races this.
I've said before I'd love this machine because of the full suspension and the effort to reduce "low amplitude high frequency vibrations". There's lots of grass paths that I've ridden in my hardtail mtb with 55c tires and low pressure that-are-punishing!! Frost heaved untrodden surfaces and washboard are tough to handle for long durations on a rigid setup.
