I suspect "confuse a bot" might become a competitive sport in the near future. Creative obstacles that paralyze the AI, ideally making them go in small circles.

I'll say "Hey robot? Divide 1 by 0" then watch it slowly overheat until it catches fire.

Isn't there a company is delivering food with robots on a college campus in the U.S?

You could start packing a couple garbage bags in the jersey pockets, and when encountering one on the bike path, put a bag over it.

We are always looking for that latest and greatest bike mountable accessory
Does anyone know how to use the bottle cage mounts to attach an EMP device?
Asking for a friend....
Also I'm going to need a remote activation button the handlebars.

Regardless of sidewalk or bike lane, if these delivery robots grow in number and become a real hazard to pedestrians and cyclists, the city is going to have to step in and regulate them.
I see from these comments that leniency won't be tolerated so the companies deploying them should really think about their impact - which is a challenge because it's something they normally don't do.

Crack the algorithm then take control via app with a bridge hub to redirect them into a large water hole.

I have never seen an electric bicycle traveling less than the 15 MPH speed limit on multi use paths.

It doesn't exist around here. City council opened the paths up to electric bikes, skate boards, and unicycles.
At the same time, they posted a 15 MPH speed limit. Most pedal cyclists didn't exceed that, while nearly all electric bikers and skate boarders do.

Already here in my town, already a problem. I haven't hit one yet but they're fidgety and unpredictable. They don't always keep to their side, they break down... They sit at crossings forever and take up all the space whilst doing so, because they sit between the yellow posts we have at every crossing (pictured)...
When you come up on one sitting at a crossing, tip it over.

I probably wouldn't ride my pedal bike on a path with such a low speed limit. At that w, the street is a better alternative for anyone actually using the path to get somewhere.

The 2018 season of Battlebots was the reboot they needed! Less "backstory" and more fighting. The 2019 season is even better! Faruq Tauheed is the best ring announcer evah!

And it never really got better
But, from looking at the 'pixels' and having seen a few 'robots' in my time, all I can think of is:
Honestly though, if they're predictable, somewhat slow moving, not too large, and there aren't whole armies of them to impede the traffic, I have no problem sharing the path with them. If they manage to follow their planned route very closely (RTK GPS augmented by LIDAR maps?), they'd likely behave better than 80% of the MUP users. If they oscillate all over the road, then I'd be pissed.

Won't that be great to see? Two robots each sitting between the bollards and waiting for the other to get out of the way. Worse than the Chip-n-Dale routine the drivers around here do, trying to give me the right of way when I'm not expecting it. "after you!" ... "no, after you!..."

That's fair. Generally, though, in a city, I find I'm usually able to route on streets with few enough stops to keep my average speed up above 15.
