So what am I when I’m commuting in bibs, jersey and cycling shoes? How about when I’m doing wearing the same while out touring?

Why do people feel compelled to put others in categories. Didn't watch the video, though I might have seen it a while ago, or something similar.

I commute on a carbon road bike sometimes with full kit, especially during the warm months. I commute on a gravel bike with studs in the winter, with multiple layers of clothing. I am a cyclocommuter, or a commuter cyclist.

Then you missed "he has never participated in a UCI sponsored event, but he knows people who have been to Europe." That's a damn funny line.

It happens all the time with all types of hobbies/activities/lifestyles. It's nothing new, humans have been putting each other in categories for thousands of years. I think only a psychologist could answer why humans do that.

Again ANYONE any age that is pedaling a 1,2,3,4 wheel machine is a cyclist. The video is a rather annoying but a satire look at wanna be racer boyz.

I kept waiting for equal time making fun of commuters, but it looks like that 60 seconds of time was spent on the sponsor of the video.

Shut up, go to work and pay your taxes. I need my social security check so I can buy a faster bike.

It would actually be funny if it spent time picking on commuters also.
