You answered your own question.

There ain't much out there better than a De Rosa. Only equals and opinions.

It's not as good as a De Rosa. It's not bad. Zeus is pretty much the most well know name in Spanish bikes from the steel era. Their components rival Campagnolo and their frames, like other brands, range from very plain to probably not notch. This looks like a mid-range frame to me.

This thread is dedicated to everyone who says it's OK to paint/decal a frame to look like something it's not.

For a fibreflub, that is not a bad redecoration. Of course, it is probably 100kg heavier than it was originally...
One could probably finish it, paint it red and get a bunch unwittings bamboozzled.

If it was sold to you as a genuine de Rosa you should return it to the seller and demand a refund.
Ebay will be on your side.

I do not have the link, as the seller already deleted the offer.
What do you think the bike is worth?
What would be a reasonable price?

How long ago did you buy this bike?

Did you buy it thru Ebay or did you buy it outside of Ebay?

I get a feeling he saw the bike listed on Ebay but decided it was a good idea to cut out Ebay in exchange for a price cut.

Probably the same or less than you bought it for. We can't say for sure without knowing exactly what it is. May well be a Zeus, but what model? We don't know the level of tubing, either. Some parts are nice, others are so-so or meh.

Me? 250 to 300. Others, in other areas, maybe more. Maybe less. This is not an exact science
