I know I managed to get the existing brakes on a super mirage to reach down for 700c wheels. No doubt this varies year by year but I'm a little surprised that the center pulls that came stock on it lack the reach. I think I took a round file to take out a bit of the inside of the brake caliper to help them reach.

I do have several Mafac Racer pairs. Is there a range in reach? I know they worked for me when I switched from 27 1/4 to 700c on a U08. Let me know if you are interested and I will pull them out of their storage space.

It looks like they came in either 63mm or 68mm.

I will take a look when the snow stops there's already several inches on my extra parts boxes right now. I may have a a set of decent center pulls that will work for fairly cheap.

i was planning to put these up for sale soon.
if you think you can use them I’ll remove from the bike & and more better pics.
i used turn on a Nishiki sport tourer with 700c wheels.
I have some 4dot black pads. Probably super old. I was using a black Origin8 straddle hanger thing. I might have different hangers if you need.
pretty sure I don’t have Mafac hangers.
lemme know.

The difference between the Racers was in the back plate (for lack of a better term). The arms were the same.
