C & V fishing reels anyone ?
Here are some of mine:
first image Mitchell reels (324, 300 and Match), second image, Crack Contact, ABU 6000 and the (2) superb but underrated (here in the UK) Shakespeare Sigma reels - all bought new and still used frequently.

My fishin' pal back in the 70s loved his Garcia 300s. I still have my Diawa from back then, but it hasn't been fished in years. I also have a casting reel I never mastered from my Dad, a Skilcast; I had no skill.

Orvis 50A, purchased at their hq in 1983. It’s made in Italy. Very light, very simple. I added the silicone o-ring to hold the line end.

Vintage??? We still use our Mitchell 499s for surf casting. One of them is nearly as old as I am and I'm in my 50s, the other is only a couple of years younger.
I don't see any Alvey reels in your collection either, usually side cast reels for surf casting, hold up to 600-800m of line... used with a 14ft rod and a big sinker to cast out 100m or so.

Here is a Heddon 320 fly fishing reel. Back in the 60s my dad and I used the Mitchell 300 reels quite a bit.

hobbs1951 Nice Abu Garcia bait caster, that was my first reel, back in the day. A wonderful gift from my father, his No. 1 in the Maps and Surveys office, helped him pick it out as he didn't fish or hunt. Wish I still had that rid and reel, they were stolen back in the early 70s.

Altough I have some newer stuff, I also have a pair of Shakespeare 2200 II. Lovely reels, and the click-click makes fishing so much better 
I have more old stuff but it doesnt get used as much as those Shakespears.

When trolling for bikes in the local newspaper want ads (remember those?) last fall, this pre-war Hardy Perfect jumped out at me. Have not fished it yet, but will this coming season. Kind of the ‘Hetchins’ of fly reels in my book.

When I was a kid our family used to go up to the Boundary Waters in MN every summer to fish for walleye and pike. Here's one of my prized processions - my Dad's 1960's Pflueger Summit baitcaster.

Yesterday I could have posted pics, I was back in the house I grew up in, on Cape Cod... Mitchell 300's were our basic standard. Vive la France! But salt corrosion was a problem for me, as a kid. I didn't rinse consistently. As I went for bigger fish, I got a Mitchell 306 which was bigger and much more corrosion resistant, but nowhere near as elegant.
Bone fishing in the eighties, used very light ugly-stick with a Shimano reel.
Moving to NJ/NYC 20 years ago I had too much to do and didn't go back to the Cape so often. But now my 12 yr old daughter has caught the bug, from an auntie. Who knows, fishing may be in my future... Oddly, moving from where I grew up which was a mecca for striped bass,i have moved to another (seasonal) one. Apparently the Piermont, NY Pier, on the Hudson River is quite good during the spring spawn.

I still have a 70s Garcia Mitchell reel very similar to yours leftover from my childhood. I'll dig it out when I get home. My one vintage reel seems a bit inadequate after seeing T-Mar's collection...
