Electra Townie 7D Accessories/Mods
Hey Everyone,
I'm a newbie to the forum. I'm picking up my Electra Townie 7D later today. I had my local bike shop add the rear rack, but was curious what other accessories or modifications you'd recommend.
I'm mostly just using the bike for cruising around the neighborhood, running quick errands, and taking it to the beach. Thanks in advance for any advice! Cheers.

Some kind of water bottle holder (look at SKS for a mount which will accommodate a cage), and a pad for the rack in case a "beach bunny" is hitchhiking.

I'd go with a giant front basket. Water cage, and a rear bag for the rack.

Kevin you're going to love that bike, I own a Euro 8d. Aside from a rear rack I have a bell, and a cell phone holder to the handle bar for navigation and music. Water bottle cage is good but I have an insulated half gallon I keep on the rear rack (keep my water cooler). When I go to the groceries I hook up a small bob's trailer and away I go. Enjoy your new ride.

The only real modification I made to mine was changing the seat. I was getting a lot of perenial numbness with the stock seat.
