I bought these last year and quite honestly it has changed the way I ride. No more slacking on the flats or downhills gotta keep the power up

I did my first ride on them this morning. The data is fascinating - I'm looking forward to using it to improve my training. On one of my usual loops, I was a little surprised in some places where my power was higher and a few others where it dropped. It's going to be a fun toy / tool.

Old track parts
For 50's Dutch track frame: Bayliss Wiley hubs and BB, Lyotard pedals, Wienmann rims, integrated steel bar and stem, "unused" crankset and rear sprocket. Bought as a box of "odd stuff"; some spare pedals and one odd part that I am not familiar with: a miniature "turnbuckle". No idea what it is for. Is anyone familiar with this on a '40s/'50s track bike?

Picked up a new rain jacket, as I'm hoping to do a lot more riding outside this fall/winter than I've done in the past. I wear a men's large typically, but went XL on this and I think that was the right decision - it's still snug.

A rain jacket rather than wind breaker, because winter is coming... Today got very soggy and my old Gore jacket is about two sizes too big.

Dura-Ace (SM-RT900) discs on my 2021 TCR Pro 0! They make the 42mm SLR wheels look better IMO.

Whitewalls!
My Dahon Eco 7 needed new tires, so I decided to go with some whitewalls. Nice and cushy.

finally took the plunge and purchased a garmin 520 (not 530) unit during the amazon prime blast for about $240 usd.. old garmin was a refurb/replacement from a warrantied one i purchased
like 9 years ago. it finally/mostly got put out of its' misery 4 months ago when it was detached and in my helmet (attached to the handle bars post-ride and leaning against the car)
when the wind blew hard, knocked over my bike (and helmet) and the ole garmin unit rolled like a ball downhill under the slow-moving (like 8mph) wheels of a passing
ford f140 (with five people inside) in a parking area. classic. it's still usable in terms of uploading rides but the screen has approx 35% visibility. the warranty refurbs (this was #3 ) had been
lasting about 9 months on average. it was time.

I upgraded my STIX ELITE (62 lumens) taillight with the STIX ELITE 2 (100 lumens) version.
Original will now be mounted on my Jersey.

A couple more summer base layers, since I ALWAYS ride with a base layer.
