Was counting on dry roads for my long training ride tomorrow, but it looks like instead I'll be inside, assembling this beauty, which I'm picking up from Cyclart on the way home from work tonight.
Dura Ace 7800 drivetrain & brakes, 7900 C24 wheels and pedals, Chris King Silver Headset, Ergonova Team bars and Red Ritchey stem, silver Thomson seatpost, and Team Avatar saddle.
The 735 tubing is pretty light, so I'm hoping she'll be sub-20 pounds, which isn't bad for a steel bike for a big lummox like me.
Here's what she looked like when she belonged to her previous owner.

I can't ride this guy anymore but still wanted to share. But I rode extensively in the Santa Monica Mts. 1985-1996. My last ride circa 1998 in Texas a young rider came buy and commented "Cool, shifters on down tube". I figured it was time to give up. It's also posted on vintage for the same reasons. Pretending..............thanks for alowing the draft!

You probably should post a picture of the finished build, no? Without other bikes in the background, too.

There are some really nice, beautiful bikes in this thread.
I just got a new bike last night, and took it for it's first ride today. It's my first carbon bike, and first bike with ultegra. Lovin it.
