Trials?

There was a thread a week or so ago about when not to use your front brake.

This made me think of that thread

https://www.hansrey.com/lessons/crash.mpg

I am pretty sure the front brake had nothing to do with it.

DANG. I have seen that 3 times in the past and it always proves to me why trials just isn't my thing. Freaking BAD crash.

I figured people must have seen that before. I am not sure what he did wrong, but I am sure I would not to repeat it. I figure the best way for me to avoid something like that is to avoid trying to jump from the arm of a bench to a brick wall.

It looks like he might have had his shoulders brake the fall (I hope for him).

Happy riding,
GF

I've seen it before too, looks well nasty. I think he tried to pedelkick, but hopped up too soon, so he went nowhere, but the front rotated downwards. Nothing to do with the front brake at all.
Should have had a lid on really.

Amen to that.

Trials riding looks like a lot of fun, but I do not really have the time to develop the skills. Someday.

40 years from now, I'll be the retiree hopping across the benches at the park. Say hi if you see me.
