Still Loving My Trek!
Have approx. 15,000 miles on my Trek 2010 1.1 bike and it still pleases me. Have replaced sprockets twice, tires ditto also chain. That's it. Probably less than $300. Did my own lube job on the hubs.
It continues to ride quietly and smoothly. A little tender care in cleaning and lubricating the chain and derailleurs, etc. Also keep the tires properly inflated. At 20 lbs my soon to be 80 year old body has no problem putting it on the car roof rack or the rack in the storage shed.
Now if I can only stretch the season to get my goal of 2500 miles; less than 200 to go!

Congrats on the 15,000! Good to hear you're still in love. I'd recommend not cheating 
by riding a full carbon.

You've been putting some serious miles on, way to go! Sounds like you've kept up with the maintainence, I too enjoy trying to do most of my own wrenching. I hope the polar vortex goes away enough to give you time to get those last 200 miles in this year!

Right on and ride on. My first Trek gave me twenty-five years and over 350,000 miles of joy before it was stolen (by a Trek dealer, no less). May yours give you at least that much fun.

Thanks for posting! I test rode a 1.1 myself this summer.... and could not walk away from it (even though... I did not need a new bike). I think the geometry fits me and my older body very well. Although I only racked up about 400 miles a month before the weather changed.
