Having stayed here a couple of nights it's hysterical the insanity of my prior idea. The concept of setting up a trainer in a 900 square foot apartment that's 70+ degrees would simply not work. I'd have to wait until my wife (and eventually my son when he lives here) left for work. Then if the dogs needed to get to their water bowl I'd have to stop pedaling so they could get by. I think I'll simply spend less time here, join a gym for fill in exercise, and/or plan trips down here around time off the bike. This place isn't big enough for the books I'd need to spend any extended time here, never mind exercise.

How many rooms in the apt? Having a dog around certainly makes it tricky, but based on just sq ft, it could be doable. I managed to fit a workout bench, trainer, and my work desk into the living room a 700 sq ft apartment, but it was temporary (one-year), and we didn't have many guests over. It certainly was cramped though.
70+ isn't a deal breaker in itself either, if you have AC and a few blower fans

My wife is able to keep one bike set up on her Kickr and store a few bikes in her ~700 sq ft. studio apartment.
That said, he Kickr is kind of off in a back corner area that isn't terribly useful given the layout of the apartment. Also, I hate being there because it really isn't big enough for two people and bikes.

Yeah. It’s not really ‘my’ apartment, but for my wife and son. So while I’ll be there it won’t be regularly and the only place to set something up is dead center. So I’ll probably do planet fitness and go to the gym the few days a month I’m there.

Right under that bike stand is my trainer and a mat with plywood under it. When my road bike is put back together it will live there all winter and probably not come off until march
