2400 miles.
Fastest 40k ITT PR by over 5 minutes
Fastest 40k TTT PR by over 7 minutes
First podium (3rd)
First time I won money for a race (a whopping 20 bucks, paid my entry though!)
4 new bikes, including new main daily driver roadie that's hella nice.
Lost 20 lbs
Got my first Strava KOM
Got on 3 Strava leaderboards on highly trafficked segments
Finished the SB250 charity ride in the 2nd fastest pace group in 110 degree heat indexes, did not sag out for the first time in three years of trying, and did it 2+ MPH faster than ever before.
Turned 40.
F*ck 40.

I just did a count of missed days and the total was 53, including a 10 day stretch on vacation. But even on that vacation I rode almost every day I was on the ground in Copenhagen and Amsterdam, but on the upright bikes that are common in those two cities, and at the locals' pace. I just didn't record them. The other stat is there were only 7 instances where I missed more than one day in a row. That's pretty dedicated. All days were over 10 miles when I did ride, so I didn't record any runs to the store, with the exception of yesterday when I had the computer on. All in all I feel pretty good about what I've done.
I'm doing a century solo later this week, that'll boost my July numbers right at the start.

I thinks its the "good weather" part I'm missing. Too cold in winter, too hot in summer. I'm going to count how many days I missed, but I'd be surprised if I missed all that many as I tried to ride at least 5 days a week, and frequently did 6 or 7. I just had a stretch of 14 straight days, but maybe that's why I did over 500 in June.
It’s also helpful to date someone that is a complete training freak

well there’s no point in me trying to compare elevation .
AZ has some hilly areas, but I need to ride at least 25 miles to get there. It’s quite frustrating for me, because that’s what I really enjoy doing. If I ride every little hill in my area, I might get 1000’ of climbing on a 35 mile ride, but it would involve getting into secured areas that are all dead ends.

I have 55000' of climbing and 95% of it is in Prospect Park on the small hill and the Manhattan Bridge and totals about 350' each way on the commute. You do them enough times and it adds up.

I like hills, and I like flat riding, for different reasons. And I have plenty of both. There are some terrific rail trails to ride in these here states, and they're expanding. We call some of them "vernal tunnels." My wife can do a whole lot of distance on that terrain, compared with hilly terrain, and we have a nice time.

It's not particularly flat around here.
