Scuba Diving
Yep, I know this is the wrong forum. It doesn't make any sense to put this in the anything goes file. Being over 50, I believe that we have experienced a whole lot more world than some of the other youngsters on this forum. So we are heading to Los Cabos next month, we have never been there, and want to do some diving. Wife and I are certified, and usually we can get some suggestions as to who to see and where to go. But we are coming up empty, so I thought that I would turn to you people who have been around! What do you say? Thanks.

I never went diving there but I have friends who learned there and love it. Of course, that could just be first timers impressions. No idea what sites are best.

We go to Cabo rather frequently. While I have not gone diving there, I am a certified diver. It seems to me that most folks go diving in La Paz, in the Sea of Cortez. The visibility is better there, and the tides safer.
Have fun.
Have fun.

La Paz seems to be the go to place, it's 2 hours away. Lots of our local dive shops have already done their trip there at the end of last year-which seems to be the best time to swim with the sea lions. Likely will not make the trip up there from Cabo. That's a long day- 4 hours of driving and 5 hours of diving. Saw some pretty cool videos of La Paz though.
Thanks all for your input.
