Boardman CX Team - Mudguards Query

Hello,

I have a Boardman CX Team (black/red model) that I use for commuting.
I fitted 45mm SKS Longboard mudguards to it when I purchased the bike 2 years a ago and have been riding on 35mm Schwalbe Marathon Pluses, and the 28mm version also.

I would like to move to a 40mm tyre if possible as the route I'm taking to work now also incorporates a bit of off road track riding which is not very comfortable on Marathon Plus tyres.

I'd like to know if anyone has managed to fit 40mm tyres to a CX team and still be able to have enough clearance to fit full length mudguards?

Thanks

Matt

Hi,

I did try the 40mm tyres and they were fine. .
I sold the bike on a good while ago, but I don't recall any issues, plenty of clearance for the mudguards.

Cheers
