Got me with the '69 Raleigh Sports (like ten times). Here's me with the '89 Panasonic DX-5000 in its current set-up. Gonna get a taller, shorter stem, I think, to sit up more. Gonna get a white saddle, and a saddlebag and (hopefully) fenders and new tires to fit within them. Otherwise, this is it, baby!

I had just come home from a five mile ride. There was a helmet involved, but it's in the garage. So it's both the obligatory garage door photo, and a photo of me: two birds, one stone!

Wiggling around to try and stay still for the shot. This is a fun bike and definitely my next mountain bike, but it's not mine yet

Yes, seriously puffy 4" wide tires. Thats the Surly Pugsley, a sand/snow/have fun bike.

Cool that you grew up here! This picture was taken at the Spring Farm area of the Mohonk Preserve in High Falls. Yes, we're looking west at the Catskills

This pic says a lot ... about what I looked like five years ago! Also captures me whiling away the days God gave me by tinkering on hopelessly geeky contraptions rather than riding. (Check the white milk crate on my recumbent trike!!)

1985 with my wife (we were dating at the time) I was a university sophomore and my ride was a 1980 Super Course that I'd upgraded with Campy Nuovo Record. I wish I still had that bike!

The family in 2005 while visiting my sister in Minnesota

Our son now - he's the one on the right. 6'3+ and 250+ pounds at 15. Good thing he's a sweet kid!
