Diamondback Insight 1 vs Diamondback Trace

So on Nashbar.com they are having a 25% off! The Insight 1 would cost $278 while the Trace would cost $375. I am 16 and 5'7" so I would be size 18-19. I don't ride a lot probably 4 times a month or so but in the summer for 3 months I will be riding constantly.

I think the lack of response is a result of the lack of clarity in your thinking.

I expect we all applaud your enthusiasm, but you've give people here very little to go on. Given your lack of knowledge of biking, though, I think mail order is a bad choice for you. You sound like you're going to need some handholding, which means your best bet is to buy a bike at a local shop.

Yeah, I built 2 bikes before though( both were hybrids) so I kind of know a good handle of stuff, but I'm thinking about ordering online and have them assemble it. I think I'm going on the diamondback trace. I am riding a mountain bike right now.

When you order online, the bike is shipped to you in a box, partly assembled, just as it came from the factory. There is no way for the seller to assemble it for you, they wouldn't be able to ship it to you unless you were prepared to pay a huge shipping fee

Oh sorry I meant I was going to bring it to the bike shop so that they can asemble. However I am consulting with an employee who is in the bike hobby and he said he will help me find a bike. So...

I generally advise against suspension on bikes in that price range.
