I just saw this one, too. Might be a good deal if you're looking for a big PX-10 to fix up. (Hope I got that right.) No idea if it's still really for sale.

The date on the receipt looks like "1950" to me. The bike has clearly been updated.

No real expert here either, but my PX-10, with the same lugs and decals, which I think is a '73, has those same horns.

If some expert would chime in, I would like to know about those long chainstays. They seem longer than usual to me--maybe just because the wheel is slammed back in the dropouts, actually.

It's about your size, isn't it? . . . .
No claim to expertise, but I’m pretty sure the NDS dropout horn/tang was gone by ‘71- my ‘68 (or ‘69…) has it, neither ‘72 does- but this has the DT graphic that came in ‘71, so maybe they were still using them then. PX-10s are relatively ‘relaxed’ until ‘73 when the angles got steeper & fork rake diminished.

The receipt has an address with a zip code. The zip code system didn't go into effect until 1963. I think the 1980 receipt is for a completely different bike than the Bianchi. Looks to me like it says "Erickson".

According this website it's a '71, which still has the horn; and so is mine. Sorry for the goof. I used to know that.

Nope, too small for me and already have a 62 and a 64.

Two very different horn styles here, both apparently Simplex and the blue frame is 60's I believe so if the white one is truly a 70's.....

So what models were your two that had Bocama head-and-seat-lugs?
Both were TdF, mid-70s vintage, full 531db and Simplex dropouts. I could be mis-remembering the lugs, as this was almost 50 years ago and I have trouble remembering what I had for breakfast yesterday.
The other feature on the "Cuevas" that looks Gitane to me is the "cut and squash" seatstay treatment that was common on boom-era Gitanes.

Spence Wolf moved the shop to this location ~1975-76 following closure of the Randy Lane, Cupertino location

recall visiting in 1977 when i purchsased my Magistroni Super Zenith chainset & headset ensemble

Pacific Grove location only in operation about five years before Spence moved up north and limited his practice to wheelbuilding
