How do you store your long wheel base recumbents?

Hmmm. maybe there are not too many people who own those. Not to worry, I found a Oakrak at the Amazon Warehouse, works great.

Late to the party, but my LWB V3 hangs from a hook in the ceiling of our garage. I understand from your thread at BROL that you cannot put hooks in your ceiling. And that you now have a freestanding rack.

In the garage. The cars stay outside on the driveway.

I'm thinking the OP needs to tell us what her specific problem is.

Weather doesn't exactly hurt the car, but in the winter it's either "garage" or spend 10+ minutes every morning scraping and defrosting the windshield. Luckily I have a third option: Basement.

Garage. What is meant to be a 3-car garage is a single car and 9-bicycle garage.

I had wanted to get some acquaintances setup with a recumbent trike. It turns out it wasn't a good match, but I had intended to build a small doghouse like shed to roll the thing into.
I did pick up a former bike locker at the local recycling center. I'm not quite sure if it would fit a recumbent/trike, but it is close. But, it is nice to have something handy for my bike.
Weather can be hard on your $30,000 car as it is hard on your $1000 bicycle.
Rubber?
Faded Paint?
Water Intrusion & Musty?
Oh, and if you're in an area that gets big hailstones... there is the hail damage.

No longer a problem for the OP. She re-sold the LWB recumbent and has a non-recumbent special needs trike on order. It just didn't meet her needs.

My third garage bay currently holds 5 recumbents and a compact tractor, among other things. I also have a bike rack in my basement. Only 2 bikes down there right now.
