Citizen vs Euromini
Hello everyone, first time posting..
I am in a market for a compact folding bike after my 1200 dollar urbe electric bike went down..
I am looking at Citizen Tokyo or the Zizzo Campo 2019.. budget is $250 which fits either of them.
I did read some good reviews about the Urbano but is out of my range.
I am looking to ride this between work for about 2.5miles roundtrip per day. I am looking for something compact, not hard to paddle (so that I dont sweat to work), and durable.
Any recommendation on which one to go with?

Well, between the two it looks like the Campo is a couple pounds lighter with larger wheels so on the ease-of-use front that'll probably be the winner.

My daughter rides a Via. It's well put together and is comparable to my Dahon Mariner. No regrets purchasing a Euromini.

Campo might be slightly bigger in wheelbase and folded size; with it's bigger wheels.

Poor OP.
Asked about 2 very specific bikes (clearly he’s narrowed it down) and still gets suggestions from left field.
OP....I have 2 EuroMini’s....2+ years of ownership and ridden quite regularly. I couldn’t be happier with them.
They punch well above their weights, as they say.

My only concern is that campo 2019 is slighly bigger but oh well. If euromini is more durable, I will get euromini. Thanks all!

It is, but I own a 20" folder and it's not really all that large in the grand scheme. Euromini has some good looking bikes but I'd passed on them since I couldn't find any reviews at the time.

I have an Origami Wasp, and unless you mod it, it's SLOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW! I love mine, but it's not what the OP asked for.
Go for the Euromini Campo, as it's definitely the better bike between your 2 choices. The Tokyo is a quite heavy bike,...

Also, the quality of the Wasp is much better than the Tokyo, as my frame is 6061 series aluminum, and the Tokyo is tensile steel. Wasp is MUCH lighter weight as well.

i did painstakingly read thru all 6 pages.
most people will proby find 53t will be quite good enough to get just a wee bit mo' speed. and 53t will probably not have clearance issue.
even if it rubbs on the 3 biggest cog, most people never use those large cog anyway.
keep in mind this is a 16" wheel. personally, i would find going fast on a 16" wheel to be rather risky. do you really need 70 gearinches anyway?
so again, the bike is just fine with a wee bit of change.
another thimg is that one could also use a shorter crank...like a 165 or 160, would have same effect as bigger chainring.

As for the gear inches, and how fast a person does or doesn't ride, that's, again, you alone. Don't dictate what's risky/dangerous for others,...as,...again,...that's YOU. My Dahon Curve gets over 70 gear inches,...I've never been worried using it. Same for my Origami Wasp now,...
Lastly, a shorter crank wouldn't work for taller individuals. Speed or no speed, a 5'11'' person would most likely feel uncomfortable with them so short. Don't generalize. Is everyone built the same? Negative,... What might not work for you may be perfect for another person.

Here are a few pics of the Via. Comparable to the Campo. Someday I need to put a review together but overall these are quality bikes for the price. If you are a military Vet they will give you an additional 10% off.

Thanks for the comparison; this same basic frame seems to be the basis for all of the inexpensive folders, though there are some minor differences.
The "Forte" was an almost buy, just not enough real info at the time; probably would recommend it as one of many inexpensive entry-level folder options.

I didn't end up buying a Euromini but I have to say their service seems remarkable. They're just about 40 minutes away from me and when I was considering one, they offered to let me come test ride at their offices, and offered to let me pick up a bike there fully assembled and....should I need to....return it there at no additional charge. I was incredibly impressed with their service; if it reflects the quality of their bikes, you're gonna be fine.

I have an entirely new crankset on my Wasp, 58T, and it also has a 11T-28T freewheel. Just adding a larger chainring resulted in the chain rubbing the frame.

I can't remember if this is a 56T or a 58T on the Wasp.
