Severe flatulence!

It’s really not a problem for me if I stick to FODMAPS.

JL Dickmon, that is what I found out. Starch was killing those around me! Cut out the pasta and cut way back on breads and now am mostly pleasant to be around. Chocolate will do it if I over indulge, but that is excusable because chocolate is heaven on earth.

More likely caused by the milk (lactose) than the chocolate. Also, cause by the lack of or insufficient enzyme to digest some component of the foods you eat. Beans can do it for some. Chewing your food more completely might help. Also, fasting.

Keeps people from riding too close behind you ... a feature, not a bug, for me.

Have you found a solution yet? That can't be good for your colon health.

well, other than the obvious aging addage, "If you're over 50, never trust a fart"
it's more of an indicator of overall health than it is of a specific malady/disease.
Trained medical professionals may disagree.
Needless to say, if you walk around with a bic lighter waiting for that peculiar rumble low in the abdomen, that would indicate mental issues.. such as carelessness for others, pyromania, attention deficit disorder maybe..

I used to be the biblical "Horn of Gabriel" until I changed my diet to keto late last year.
ANd in addition to greatly reducing methane emissions which helps the climate, I have also lost a dramatic amount of weight.

So I got that workin' for me.
Gunga.. gun gungula..

Research studies show that properly aimed flatulence can increase one's average speed 1.5 miles per hour. Don't knock it. Eat beans!!

This might sound stupid, actually DOES SOUND STUPID, before eating what brings on your issue and after consuming said food have a swig of BRAGG APPLE CIDER VINEGAR https://bragg.com/products/bragg-org...r-vinegar.html with a bit of water/honey whatever.

Might be pleasantly surprised.
