Warm, fur? chaps?

I got "rain chaps" (there's another thread with that). They cover just my thighs. They actually worked better than I expected. No wet thighs when it rains. I use an umbrella.

Found the thread.

And the rain chaps.

Now that it's cold I was wondering if there's something similar just to keep my thighs warm. Is there such a thing as maybe furry chaps similar to those rain chaps? Dry thighs are nice. Warm thighs would be nice too. I'm not that concerned how it looks, esp. if it's something black and blends in.

As long as you can keep the wind off, it doesn’t take much to keep warm.
try using the rainlegs for warmth as well.

I might try the rain chaps just to see.

It can be a little windy here. I realized last year the cold is tolerable for each ride, but after a while I can feel the spots that do get cold feel different. It's like long term frost bite. It builds up.

I use my rain chaps in the winter. They work well as a wind barrier layer, which can make all the difference, but I don't overheat in them like rain pants or shell pants.

I think I actually get more use out of them in the fall/winter than the spring/summer.

That's an interesting product. I can't picture myself using them as I don't my thighs are the vulnerable part when it rains or when it's cold, or both.
