Ultegra 9 spd. triple 39 ring ?
I've searched, didn't find anything
I've got an Ultegra 9 spd. system, with the Ultegra triple crank. Maybe the 6500 group, not sure.
The middle ring is done and needs replacing. Odd thing is all the reading I can find tell me this was a 30-42-52 crank, yet I've counted the teeth on the middle ring and it's a 39.
Thus I'd like to source a replacement, but need a ring with the ramps and pins to allow the system to work correctly.
Any thoughts on a source for that ring, appreciated.

39 tooth would be the small/inner ring for a Shimano 6500 double, or really any standard double. Is the current 39t ring actually ramped/pinned? The 39 off a double wouldn't be, it might have a couple cut teeth at best.
9spd Dura-ace had some odd gear combos on the triple, quick googling says it was 53/39/30. So you might be looking for a Dura-ace 9spd middle ring, not sure if anybody else made one.
Edit: Well there you go, that link has a 39t middle. Also this is the Dura-ace ring set, but It looks pretty beat up: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shimano-Dur...e602:rk:4:pf:0

Update:
Photo of the large ring, a 52 tooth in 130BCD and a photo of the crank L arm.
I see 6603, so will try to source that and Yes, it’s a ramped/pinned middle ring. I’ll likely replace the 52 as well, the small is a replacement 26

Ultegra 6600 would be 10spd I think, 9 and 10 should be interchangeable for cranks/rings so you're fine if everything else is 9spd.
Looks like 6600 was the same 53/39/30 setup, you could look for that middle ring as direct replacement. If you throw Shimano 39t triple in ebay you actually get some good results: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fro...LH_TitleDesc=0

Those Shimano 3x9 drivetrains shift so great with the right rings, but unfortunately replacements are becoming almost impossible to find. I just bought one of these to put in my inventory for backup: https://www.rei.com/product/778838/s...130mm-39-teeth
I suggest that you do the same before they are gone. Good luck.

Recently I was in the same situation as you: a worn-out middle ring on a road triple. Although mine was on a Craigslist-purchased bike that was not nearly as in as bad shape as yours. Wow!
So a few seconds later I had a 9-speed Sora unit ordered on Chain Reaction for like $13. Works great. Steel, so adds a few grams, but the middle ring on triples always takes the brunt of drivetrain wear.
