Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Please explain how being able to do it four ways is any better than two.
at 1st it's the weirdest thing to do because you're going to reversing the feel of a regular track stand but after a lot of practice, you'll see how useful it is when you need to use it. try and make it to the point of it being as close to natural as the "regular" way.

btw learning this will also help you, if do don't know already, how to do reverse circles. trackstanding in all 4 will get you used to balancing yourself in reverse. here's a short clip of me
Reverse riding

They kinda made us use it. Besides, the whole reason for doing stuff like this naked is so that you don't have to wear/carry wet clothes.
