Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

As a high schooler without a job, this is probably as far as its gonna go for a while. Maybe some FSA bars because they're so comfortable.
I actually haven't really fallen in love with the idea of deep carbon wheels. I really like the braking with these A23's, and they're relatively light, so I don't think giving up those two things are very appealing.

Boy, you guys really don't like the yellow bar tape and hoods! I would say that it looks like a leader's bike in the TDF. From a practical point of view, the yellow hoods and tape will get dirty looking much faster. I am a bit more curious about that crank. This is Campy but what line?

the cranket is a centaur back when they offered the group in gray. Very nice, and very pretty group.

The rest of the components on the bike in question look to be a mix of campy. Century gray centaur is all bluish gray with silver hardware.

A frameset that pretty doesn't need garnish.

Take from farther away, and get down to the level of the bike. Crop to zoom it in.

I ride a 66cm bike. Love 'em tall. It's hot to me.

Not hot, but that doesn't mean that I don't like it.

I like the look of white Hudz, but I think they need to be used with white tape and saddles.

Btw. I have found white Hudz last about 6 months before starting to fall apart. You can clean them, but they wear out far to quickly for my liking.

Interesting and bordering on hot for my taste...as was noted, lose the white hoods...and I hope that seat is comfortable, because it sure is a little odd looking

I know, not the best backdrop, but it beats the obligatory white garage door. I've changed everything on the bike except the shifters and derailleurs (they're next). Weight is 15.8 pounds, and that's with a 105g tire pump in the seat tube.

Sorry but it is a Not. That red bar tape really messes it up.

The background is not obligated to a white garage door. It is so we can see all parts of the bike without having a distracting background such as yours.

Its a Not for me.

Dont like the frame shape. That headtube is is just plain hideous to me. Large stack. No saddle to bar drop. Might be picture but saddle looks to be tilted down a smidge. Dont like red bar tape. Dont like colored cables.

I'm sure it is a fine bike and I hope you ride the CRAP out of it. But aesthetically I just dont love it.

Oh well, it's hot to me. I think half the stuff that is deemed "hot" in this thread are butt ugly. There are just too many plain-jane looking bikes out there. I like a little color, black & white are boring.
