Foakley Jawbreaker nose piece fix

The nose piece on my Foakley Jawbreakers doesn't latch down fully, so from time to time it snaps up while I'm riding, pushing the glasses away from my face. Sometimes this happens over and over in a short period of time, and I have to push the nose piece back down repeatedly. I don't understand what makes it eventually stay put for awhile before eventually, days or weeks later, snapping up again. (Apparently this is a design flaw with the Foakley Jawbreakers and isn't an issue with the authentic Oakleys). Anybody found a fix or workaround for this?

Maybe a pair of real Oakleys?

I look forward to being able to afford a pair. In the meantime, hacking my fakes is what's feasible.

Then I recommend Krazy Glue. Seriously.

It's a good idea. I've been considering it as a last resort. But it does look like some other kind of modification of the nose piece that stabilizes it while still allowing the jaws of the sunglasses to open will be possible. In any case, thanks for the suggestion.

Always by the genuine article or find another genuine article that is cheaper if you must. Fakes and phonies are not good and aren't worth the time. If you can't afford something don't fake it just be honest.
