Here's mine, sort of. 25" 1981 Miyata 912. It's been cleaned, framesavered this past weekend, and will have its Shimano 600 BB returned to it tonight with new bearings.

No, neither. It's a 1991 NOS 914SE, 50cm frame. I think I may have overpaid - $394 US, but since I'm not mechanically inclined at all, I figured getting a NOS will save headaches.

Unagidon, don't give yourself such a hard time! I did the same for mine, mostly because I was pretty sure I'd never find the same color in my size again. If you really, really love the bike and it fits you great, you'll forgive yourself quickly and now you're better prepared for purchasing your next C&V ride.

I only need one bottle cage... I never run out of water before the rest of the guys I ride with. I probably don't drink anywhere near enough though.

A lot of the older bikes only have bosses for one cage. My 1988 Miyata 215ST, for example - a touring bike that had only one set of factory bosses.

My 1981 610. I changed the shifters, brake levers, pedals, cables, cable housing, and stem over the winter, but it's too miserable in Chicago to go outside for new pictures.

commuter, don't need more than one bottle. If I set it up for a century, I'd have 4 bottle holders on it.
Also the frame is too small for bottle holder + U-lock holder. The mini barely fits and the standard doesn't fit.
