My first thread

I discovered this web sight when looking for parts to replace the drive train on my 2008 Trek 7.3 FX. It has been in a garage for the last five years, but it is in excellent condition, other than needing the new drivetrain.... plus new grips and pedals.. I am siked.. I love this bike like no other.. I am 71 years old, but hope to ride till I drop.... at 100??? This is a cool we sight... I have learned lot. My local bike shop is doing the work... Nice people, a lot of knowledge there.., Here too!

I'm not a regular so I'm not the one to show you the ropes around here, but it might be wise to correct your topic title.
Otherwise people may be coming in looking for info on something entirely different than riding bikes.

That said - welcome!

Thanks for your replies. I a 71 yrs old and have ridden a bike since I was 6 yrs old or so.. But not much at all for five years . I just had a new drivetrain put into my 2008 Trek 7.3 FX, and I am stoked.. It has been in my garage for 5 years, not rideable,.. It is in excellent shape now, and it drives like butter. It's metallic black, and I just ordered my first kickstand for it, also black.. I just finished putting new tires on it, too.... 700cmx35mm,... Kenda Quests.. I learned o these tires, while perusing the pages on this forum…. They seem really good, bt I won't know until I take it out for it's first spin, tomorrow...
