About every three months my debit card gets hacked. I’ve gotten to the point where I barely use it, and yet today it still got hacked. I used it once to get gas at sams club in the past week and I always check for scanners.
Im tired of people always trying to take what is not theirs.

Another compelling reason to avoid the local MUPs. This was a mile from my house on Monday morning.

Yea, I’ve been cutting back on the use of it dramatically. I can’t believe the one time I used it, I get hacked. In the past someone used a wand on my wallet. I have one of those extra secure wallets now but who knows if it really works. My bank always fixes it. Just a pain in the ass.

It was maybe 5 years ago I stopped putting my debit cards in machines or handing them to waiters. It wasn't too long after that I made sure I was never using them to pay for anything online either. EVERYTHING goes through a credit card.

I don't even have a debit card anymore. I don't keep large sums in my primary checking account anymore, either- it's strictly a funnel for savings and bills and any remainder that's left when the next paycheck posts goes to retirement (hah!) or investments.

Gutty effort on the lawn today. For the first time in three months, the church will congregate this weekend. But not in the building. Instead on said lawn. Those in attendance will have a quality cut lawn to admire during the service.
In a mysterious departure from 2020, I was sweating a lot today. Also got sunburned.
I did not sufficiently pre-hydrate. Had to hit the water hose twice instead of once. Sad.

Meh, I live off my debit card. I never carry cash. I've been hacked 3 times. Its never been a problem. I point out which transactions are not mine. They put the money back. Send me a new card. Done. It is the only thing I like about bank of 'merica.
One time, a guy in New Jersey used a fake debit card with my info to buy 3 phones and pay off a couple different accounts. Almost 5k. Seeing how I live in Mi. And have not been to New Jersey in years, it was a problem...The best part was it was with my cell carrier. I got to call the store and tell the manager what was what. He was not happy.

It hit 99 on my ride today. Average temperature was 98. It was worse than I actually thought it would be. I stuck to the shade but the heat zapped my energy pretty quickly. I kept down shifting to keep my cadence up and I cadence kept slowing down. At a certain point i just htfu and kept meshing at around 80 rpm usually I am at 98 to 105. I don’t think I’ll ride during the day when it’s that hot again.
Oh and more things to add to my ever growing amazon list.
Another bontrager cage
bottle that is actually insulated
white helmet.
My current helmet is black and at one point I think I could feel my head cooking.
