I can talk bikes here!

(I imagine myself in a bland room with white walls and cheap laminate, vinal, tile flooring. I stand up from my cheap plastic folding chair looking towards the circle of individuals who are in turn looking back at me with vague or is it feigned interest...)
Hello, my name is R3drider and I'm an addict... (Murmurs and welcomes come from the audience, someone calls me brother...) I'm from Seattle and have too many road bikes, some vintage, some new race machines, a simple single speed/fixie, a mountain bike, and a couple of track bikes... (More murmurs, a few nods, some looks of worry, some of interest.) I'm hoping to find help... To learn... And to share... Thank you. (I sink back into my cheap, plastic, folding chair... The say thank you, and welcome me to this circle.).

Welcome!

However, there is no such thing as too many road bikes.

whenever someone posts the following question “should I get another bike”

I like to answer with ”you’re asking a bunch of addicts if you should have more?”

welcome brother. you've come come to the right place. enjoy

My actual response would be "How can I tell my wife I need another bike when I already have this many already?"

Welcome to the board.
