Fuji Sports 12
I saw a Craigslist ad for a Fuji Sports 12 for $50, in supposedly excellent condition. I'm wondering if that's too low since it seems others find similar bikes for much more. Or is it just certain model years that go for more? I'll have to look at it and also ask the seller for more info, but just curious if I should be suspicious or if this would be standard.

Welcome to BikeForums. If this is a 1980s road bike, similar to the one in this thread, then questions of value should be directed to the Classic & Vintage "What's It Worth" subforum. A moderator should be able to move this thread for you.

Prices are all over the map and $50 for an older, lower end Fuji like this is OK. The problem with an older bike is that the initial price can be good but you need to be able to do your own work to get it rideable (or pay someone to do it which really drives up the cost).
If you give us a link to the ad, we can provide a lot more info about the bike and whether the price is reasonable.

If it's in excellent condition then the wheels should spin as smooth as silk and it should be ready to ride. $50 is a reasonable price for that.
