It's a 70's Gitane Supercorsa. The Supercorsa was from Gitanes upper mid range model lines. Like most Gitanes of that time, the quality is typical French, which can be a bit rough in some areas. This includes the graphics which were adhesive foil type decals that do not look as good as clearcoated over decal work. The redeeming factor for the bike was it's 531 tubing which is always considered good quality..
The later Supercorsa from Gitane in the 80's were a lot better made and finished.but still understated, especially compared ti Italian bikes of that time, But you kind of have expect that with French bikes as a big part of their beauty was their understated looks.
IIRC, The 80's Supercorsa switched over to Supervitus 983 tubing. Excellent, lightweight French tubing, but not as universally popular as Reynold's 531
A Gitane Supercorsa F+F of this vintage should bring in about 200 bucks, if it is in VGC.

The Super Corsa, as mentioned, was Gitane’s top model.

Do you have all the remaining parts to make it a complete bike, or are you seeking a valuation as it sits in the photos?

only came with the bb, headset, and barstem.

think I’ll include the mafac racers w/ mafac plastic levers and a nuovo rear, but offer the stronglight post and c-record front at a premium.
