Well new this past February. I put my alloy wheels back on despite the red hubs will get another set of carbons at some point. Also trying a new Fabric saddle. I decided to get some hand tooled bar tape with slate and citron accents from busyman bicycles which should be here within the next cpl of weeks

I'll still give it a hot, even though there's a bag and taillight hanging off of it. The Silca gets you a pass, simply because I keep looking at them myself. I like the colors of the bike a lot, but the red hubs need to go.

By the way, the Silca roll is pretty darn awesome. Doesn't hold a ton, but not designed to either.

I still have it and love it (mostly). But the width really started to bother me and seemed to be giving me almost sciatica style problems perhaps. So back on the search I think. I just got this Fabric Line Shallow Pro which seems to be pretty nice so far. I think the Infinity is absolutely perfect for the ultra marathon types. It's pretty wild to have absolutely no pressure or pain on the sit bones but I think I may have just lost a little too much weight and the width is putting too much pressure on other areas. I also think that it's more suited to sustained regular pedaling with no major changes in power. My "spin up" for lack of a better term power seems better with the Fabric than the Infinity but that's probably just me being goofy.

It's very close in fit, which is why I selected a Domane. The TT is 1mm shorter, the chainstays are 15mm longer, and the HT angle is 1 degree more slack. It is definitely more stable(hands free riding is very easy), and the seat tube decoupler makes the ride incredibly smooth. The Trek is about the same weight, but my old bike had a PowerTap hub.

Can a stock bike be hot? Probably not. $2400 bike, paid $1200 brand new. Haven't done the fitting yet, saddle may or may not come up a little, the bike is really comfortable but the 0.883 LeMond method says the saddle is low by 5-7cm depending how bad my self-done pelvic inseam measurement was, but not sure how raising it would affect the reach to the hoods, probably make it longer? Real pedals incoming too.

Nice, you seem to have got a good deal. Enjoy it. In order to make it fit in this thread (as opposed to the "What Road Bike Do You Have" thread), you'll need to add proper pedals and carbon wheels, and lower the stem then cut the tube (this may need to be done incrementally for fit reasons).

Says who? You are correct that carbon wheels are not necessary for a bike to be "nice," which his is. However, this is "HotRNot," which carries with it certain expectations.
Since "Hot" has never been defined in this thread, it's interpretation is purely subjective. In this thread, bikes deemed "Hot" have overwhelmingly had carbon wheels. Carbon wheels give bikes a more aggressive, race-ready, appearance. Accordingly, I interpret "Hot" to mean "aggressive" or "race-ready." Thus, without carbon wheels, among other things, the bike is not "Hot."

Ditto on my end, quite a few bikes look better with a 50mm Carbon but the lighter shallower ones I’m just as happy to see bikes with nice alloys.
