Miche freehub removal

I've been given a rear wheel with a Miche Team hub and Miche freehub on it. I want to use it on a bike with Shimano gears, so would like to put a Shimano freehub on the wheel. (the spline pattern on the Miche freehub is not compatible with Shimano cassettes).

Firstly, are Shimano freehubs compatible with the Miche hub, and secondly is the Miche freehub removed in the same way as a Shimano freehub, with a 10mm hex spanner?

Just thought I'd ask before taking the thing apart.

Is it a proprietary freehub or Campagnolo pattern splines?

I know nothing about Campag or Miche splines, but here is a picture of the freehub. All splines are the same width, apart from this slightly wider, grooved spline.

Possibly it was a campy 8 sp cassette hub body. Usually there is an 8 or 10mm screw in the hub body. Contact Miche and see if replacements are available. Good luck
